PROFILE: I have been a
2D/3D artist for 18 years. My experience includes the usage of concept art
and its incorporation into a 3D package such as 3DSMax, building a low/mid
poly model using either a concept sketch or raw imagination, prepping a
model ready for texture mapping and the creation of a texture map and its
application to a model. I have a cell animator background which has proven
very useful as it has improved my ability to understand how gravity works on
an object when it comes to animating within 3DSMax using physique. I have
previous training as an architect which has come in useful for some
projects. My organisational and communication skills have proven to be
effective throughout my experiences as a LEAD ARTIST on to a SENIOR ARTIST
through to an ART DIRECTOR/3DSMax tutor. I prioritise art needs well and
make sure that the project stays on target with sensibly timed gatherings to
discuss project status.
